a bit tired building and furnishing but hugely enjoyable stay.

Great holiday end of season. Well positioned resort for slope access. Great company met and shared through the stay. Food good for sporting types though not as good as last year, Queuing at the bar became a nuisance,,,,,should have been more staff on hand . Shame no pool at the resort, but that would have no doubt upped the price. Overall hugely enjoyable stay, will likely go again.

Our family of four spent a week in Val Thorens with a few friends. We were all beginners and chose either skiing or snowboarding. The lessons (twice a day) were run by a brilliant group of instructors who took us up and down through breathtaking views with patience, energy and humour. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The food was plentiful and varied – mealtimes were always a joy and a surprise – and the staff were all friendly and helpful, which made the whole thing even better. It was expensive, but I'd go again if I could.

The Three Valleys ski area is aimed at all skiers, from beginners to experts. Its highest point is located at 3230 m and guarantees snow cover from the end of November to the beginning of May.
