La Pointe aux Canonniers Mauritius

Whether you travel alone or with up to three generations together you will have a great stay with plenty to do, the club is great and Mauritius is a great destination.
We had an excellent stay at ClubMed everything was perfect. Great room on the beach close to the restaurants, bar and sporting activities. We really enjoyed exchanging with the GOs and GEs, too many to name all unfortunately.

The club is on a lovely beach with fine sand (great sunsets), water in February is warm and weather is clear, and surprisingly not one mosquito around. It is so beautiful, just a daily enchantment.
Lots of families with kids and teenagers but nothing to worry about if you come as couple.

Food and drink is available all day and with high standards as usual in club med. You can eat also at the beach restaurant outside hours and even the fish burger is top quality.

Every activity is well managed, done on time, and if you like sailing the fleet of Hobie 15 is in good condition and the team super nice (special thanks to Jean-Yves, Lorenzo, Jo and all the others at least as nice). Great land sports too with fun and challenging sessions with Fif.
Snorkeling is ok, diving is good though the coral is damaged. The team is very professional and even sailing in the lagoon you can see the occasional turtle or ray.
Room was always tidy with flexibility to our schedule, thanks to Amita.

People overall are very friendly professional and speak French and English fluently. Waiters are too many to name though we remember Ayman and Samuel but it’s a bit unfair to the rest.

If you chose the club to participate in many activities keep in mind the Saturday is the main resting day for the staff so it’s a good day to go on excursions.

Many thanks to the water ski team and to Souhail for the excellent private sessions, as well as the kids’ sessions that give my 9‑year‑old daughter the confidence to start wakeboarding with great success in safe hands. We also had a great experience with the sailing team, who were very friendly and organised a fantastic regatta.

A special mention for the Ski Nautique team who was absolutely incredible: friendly, approachable, and always attentive to both safety and everyone’s needs. The atmosphere down at the pontoon was truly second to none. A massive thank you to Sohail, Asaël, Jerry, and Trichi - what an amazing team!

Joe at the sailing was extremely welcoming, and Zoe was the kindest and most encouraging at the land-based sports. Thank you as well to the wonderful sports manager, Tony, for leading such a great team.

Overall, it was a brilliant week packed with activities, great energy, and unforgettable memories

A truly wonderful place: beautiful grounds, delicious food, fun evening shows, lots of activities, and impeccably friendly staff. I'd especially like to mention Alex from Amaszing Family – at our request, he gave us a personal bracelet-making master class! I'd also like to mention the resort's chef, Oliver – when he learned about my husband and I's 20th anniversary, he gave us a gift: an upgrade to our room, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet with the ocean view! I also recommend the hotel's excursions with guide Monisha – she's very easy to talk to, and her stories are engaging; the day flew by with her.

Had a great trip to Club Med La Pointe aux Canonniers after a previous visit back in 2021. The team was fantastic! Massive thanks to Capt. Fif at the gym, Andy at snorkeling aka Andy Jackson, and the entire water ski and sailing team (Asael, Sohail, Trishi, Jerry, Jean Marie, Kiki, Lorenzo, Jean Yves, Jo, and Valdo).

The food was excellent, with special thanks to Chef Sunil, Sakib (not to forget the french chef sorry i forgot his name), and the bar team (David, Momo, Jason, and Krishna). A big shoutout to the reception team (Aurélie, Lorenzo, and Mohamad), who helped us rent a car, and to Julie, who kindly cleaned our room every day with such care.

La Pointe aux Canonniers is a beautiful, sunny spot in Mauritius – highly recommended!
