My wife and I enjoyed our visit to Ishigaki Club Med. The staff were friendly; we did not stay long enough to befriend other guests although that seemed likely to happen. The beach was pleasant despite a moderately strong current. The buildings were well maintained, and when a tropical storm threatened the staff put up and took down the storm shutters without disturbing the guests. Food was good, desserts were very good. One complaint: the bar drinks were undrinkable - something about the ice, perhaps, at the Club Med and all other bars we visited in Ishigaki. If I were the Chef de Village this is the first thing I would try to fix.
