Columbus Isle Bahamas

Very beautiful, pristine place with turquoise ocean and a great list of activities to do such as scuba, snorkeling, tennis, kite surfing, etc.

The GO team were the best, always so nice and welcoming!
Lyam from the pool, Benji, Baptise, Tony, Charles, Lalo and Thomas. The bartenders Cedric and Omar were very charismatic, attentive and engaging with us!
Also, Maria and Kevin from the kitchen were incredibly friendly and efficient with her services.

We had a wonderful time and after reading about concerns re the cleanliness/rundown appearance of the rooms, we were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were ok. You don’t go to Club Med for the rooms; if you spend a lot of time there outside of sleeping then, in my opinion, you are doing Club Med wrong. The variety and freshness of the food was a big plus. The sailing team could be a little more proactive, but the SCUBA team (Only Blue) were great; Milan (PADI instructor) was a huge highlight. Leroy and Latoya (main restaurant and housekeeping staff, respectively) were also tremendously. Will absolutely book Columbus Isle again. A much more chill and family-friendly / relaxing village than Cancun.

The village chief Luca was excellent, he was everywhere, in the shows and on the beach every day with staff members sometimes twice a day. He really cared about our happiness.

The shows were the best I have seen at Club Meds.

We took the tennis lessons every morning with Guedi and Charles. They were great. Two days later Max arrived as another instructor I have had Max at least two other times once in Turks and now twice at Columbus. He is excellent, very organized and his explanations and suggestions were very much appreciated. The three were a great group.

The food was delicious and so much selection. Club Med always beats out any 5 star all inclusive. The local staff who worked in the restaurants and cleaned our rooms were so hard working, helpful and very friendly. They certainly made us feel welcome.

I also want to thank the staff at the airport, efficient and courteous.

The beach is gorgeous and the nicest it has been over my past 3 visits. I will be back.
