I just came back from Club Med Cancun and had a wonderful time. The staff there are truly what makes the difference.

A special shout out to Julia at reception for being attentive, engaging and helpful throughout my stay. Right from check in where she helped me get some change for my pesos all while teaching me how to say the denominations in Spanish.
When my flight got delayed, she was gracious enough to proactively offer me a late check out. Thank you for your attentiveness Julia and kindness throughout my stay there - you made my stay extra special.

Other special shout outs that made my stay extra special include: Chris-Love also from Reception, for having dinner with us one night and being so kind throughout our stay.

And Also Jessica from the main bar. She always served me with a smile, remembered my order every day. Truly a ray of sunshine.

The Aqua fit girl was also really full of energy and motivating. I just can't remember her name (Sorry Aqua Fit girl)

Everyone was fantastic, not just these individuals. But these are the individuals who really made a difference for us during our stay this time.

Great food and overall a nice stay, but some clear areas for improvement. The dining was a highlight with excellent quality and variety throughout. However, the room felt worn and not as clean as expected, with issues like a broken balcony door handle and visible stains on surfaces. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and the air conditioning cycled on and off frequently, which was disruptive at night. We also experienced a delay with luggage delivery on arrival due to a lack of coordination between staff. Overall, a good experience, but the accommodations and service consistency could be improved.

Spa was like entering another world. Beautiful and relaxing.

Meats in Hacienda were very tasty. Lamb chops and tuna steak outstanding.
Appreciate the dining room for adults only.
My 5th trip to CM Cancun.

We booked a family vacation: two rooms, 2 grandparents, 2 parents and the bestest 3.5 year old granddaughter ever. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. But beware...

If you are travelling with an under 4-year-old, (a) you need to reserve a spot in Petit Club in advance. From the online description and chatting with the reservationists, I understood that we could NOT book for one day and assume we could extend it or, conversely, pay for multiple days and cancel if it didn't work out. (b) We held off booking, assuming that if the kid could manage it, she would be able to join the 4+ group, WRONG! As a result we were locked out of the (paid) Petit Club but not permitted to join the 4+ group. This made for less than the perfect vacation we had envisioned for the kid, with fewer activities available and, of course, less opportunities to mix and make friends. This alone cost Club Med one star.

The food was plentiful, with the main dining room buffet style, with many choices. Food was generally prepared well—not great, but decent.

The two reserve-in-advance restaurants (the Argentinian steak place, La Estancia, and the Mexican Taco Arte are very popular and reservations fill very quickly. To me, this says there are not enough dining options offered. Club Med should do something about this...
Rooms are adequate but bed pillows were awful, truly terrible. Nice Ahava soaps and shampoos and an assortment of toiletries.
The staff was courteous, friendly and welcoming.
Would we return? Yes, though we would not reserve beach-front rooms as we never really took advantage of walking on the beach (way too hot!). Also because our 3.5 year old will be 4 by then and less restricted.
